In the Green Surroundings of Zreško Pohorje
Zreče Spa, a modern spa with excellent natural features, has developed in the embrace of rich forests of green Pohorje, in a place where the Dravinja mountain river slows down and connects that world with the Dravinja hills. Less than a half hour ride from Zreče is a famous climatic spa Rogla, functional since the year 1996. Accommodation
In Zreče Spa, there are several types of accommodation to choose from. Four star hotel Dobrava 2000 is intended for holiday, but also for business gatherings. The three star hotel Dobrava, functional within the hotel Dobrava 2000, is a place where postoperative rehabilitation is performed. The decorated park is the location of Spa Zreče Villas, with four star categorization and ten apartment cottages. In Spa Zreče Villas, the guests can combine accommodation with hotel meals. Pets are also welcome. In the autumn of 2011, a new hotel Atrij will be opened, with additional Zreče Spa capacity of 45 rooms with 100 beds and among them wellness apartments, extended restaurant space with 173 additional chairs, modern conference center
and new wellness areas in the wellness center Idila.
Symptoms, spa treatment and wellness
Advantages of Zreče Spa are based on akrata-thermal water, peat of Pohorje and healing subalpine climate, supplemented by different rehabilitation procedures. We help with postoperative conditions and locomotor damage, degenerative and inflammatory rheumatism, damage and disease of periphery nervous system and problems with periphery blood flow. Specialist departments functional within the spa are: orthopedics, physiatrics, internal medicine-cardiology for venous diseases, urology, neurology, proctology, rheumatology and plastic surgery. We check the bones` condition by measuring mineral bone density and analyze the tissue content. Due to the soothing climate at 1516 m altitude, there is also a climatic spa at Rogla. The air rich with oxygen and pleasant climate are beneficial for respiratory diseases, allergies, eyes, skin and blood diseases. We especially help with treating asthma and post pneumonia conditions. The premises of Medico center in the hotel Planja are a location of the specialist pulmology clinic. We also have a rich wellness offer and a part of it is a uniquely decorated Village of Saunas with various types of sauna (Turkish, Finnish, infrared), various massages (classic, Asian) and baths. The visit to Sawaddee, the center of traditional Thai therapy offers a special experience. Within the wellness and sauna programs, we offer peelings with local plants, salt or sugar and relaxation wraps with honey or chocolate.
